1. Why I keep getting cut off / booted when I first entering the chat ?
Make sure your using Sun Java and NOT microsoft Java. You can download Sun Java from this Link : http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_automatic.jsp
2. Why after entering the chat my chat screen goes blank/white and keep flashing ?
We have a lot of graphics in our chatrooms . After you get in, please wait a couple of minutes to let the graphics fully load, after everything loads properly then you can enjoy our fun chat rooms. If you still get a white screen then trying starting a new browser session and entering the chat again. Sometimes your computer will run out of resources and the best and only real way to fix this is by rebooting your computer. After that you will find your computer has all it's resources back and you can chat as per normal .
3. How can I use the emoticons and icons in this chatroom ?
For emoticons just click the emoticons button at the menu bar or click this link Emoticons List . For user icons just pick one at the settings option.
4. How can I block messages from disruptive chatters ?
Simply highlight the name of the abusive user and click the "ignore user" button ( the circle one ) at the top of the Users tab .
5. How can I have a private conversation with another chatter ?
Just highlight the user you want to approach, and click the "private message" button at the top of the Users tab (the speech bubble with a P) and type away!
6. What should I do when someone try to abuse me in private message? Can moderator help me ?
Yes we can. It is moderator's job to keep the chat room fun and from abusive chatters. But we can't do anything what happened in private chat, we only act based on what we see in the main room. To help you we need your help as well by giving us the screen shot of their conversation in private message and send it to webmaster or moderators of chat jungle.
